Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Site Lead, where you will spearhead in office operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a Construction Site Lead, you will be the cornerstone of effective communication between subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes safety, productivity, and excellence.

Duties

- Oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and construction crews to maintain workflow efficiency and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide onsite work accurately.
- Utilize construction management software such as Jobtread track progress, manage schedules, and update project documentation.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications and industry standards.
- Manage site safety by enforcing safety procedures, conducting regular safety meetings, and addressing hazards promptly.
- Monitor project budgets and assist with construction estimating to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Use Bluebeam for document review and markups; ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts by analyzing schematics and technical drawings during problem-solving sessions.




- Execute hands on tasks such as structural framing, deficiency and general carpentry work.

Qualifications

- Proven supervising experience in a construction environment with a strong understanding of site operations.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Minimum of 3 years in carpentry- ideally ticketed.
- Extensive construction experience with knowledge of building processes from foundation to finishing stages.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Jobtread, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
- Experience with construction estimating and budgeting processes to control costs effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality control practices ensuring high standards are maintained throughout projects.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients or stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.

Education

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:
- construction: 5 years (required)
- carpentry: 3 years (preferred)
