The Molnar Group is a well-established real estate investment and development company with over 55 years of experience. We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team on a 145-unit residential project in Parksville, BC. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an experienced development company on a significant local construction project.

Job Details

- Position: Construction Labourer
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Project Duration: Approximately 4 months
- Wage: Starting from $20/hour, depending on experience
- Work Location: Parksville, BC

Responsibilities

- Maintain clean and safe worksites by removing debris and hazardous materials
- Assist carpenters, welders, painters, and other trades as required
- Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and equipment
- Perform general labour tasks such as lifting, digging, stacking, and site preparation
- Safely use hand and power tools (experience required) in accordance with site safety requirements
- Assist with scaffolding, temporary structures, signage, and barricades
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged tools, or site hazards to supervision
- Follow all site safety rules, procedures, and instructions

Requirements





- Previous construction or site labour experience is preferred, particularly in:
- Concrete forming and finishing
- Installing concrete pavers and pedestals
- Masonry experience
- Construction clean up
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Assets (Not Required)

- Basic carpentry skills
- WHMIS, First Aid Level 1, Fall Protection
- Forklift or equipment certifications
