Role Description This full-time, on-site Construction Worker role is based in Spruce Grove, AB.

The Construction

Worker will assist with modular building assembly, site preparation, and general construction tasks, including measuring, cutting, and installing building materials. Daily responsibilities may include masonry work, flooring installation, renovation activities, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. The role involves working with hand and power tools, following construction plans and instructions, and collaborating with supervisors and coworkers to complete projects on schedule and to quality standards.

Worker is expected to adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures while supporting efficient and cost-effective construction operations.

Qualifications

- Experience in general Construction and modular building assembly, with the ability to follow plans and instructions accurately.
- Practical skills in Masonry, such as brick, block, or stone work, and related structural installations.
- Hands-on abilities in Flooring installation and finishing, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials.
- Background in Renovation work, including repairs, upgrades, and retrofits to existing structures.
- Basic Research skills to understand materials, methods, and best practices for construction tasks.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards and consistent adherence to protected work practices.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability, with a commitment to punctuality and task ownership.
- Previous experience in construction or modular building is an asset; relevant trade certifications or training are beneficial.
