We are seeking an experienced Consultant Paediatrician to provide high-quality specialist care to infants, children and adolescents in a predominantly outpatient setting. This is an excellent chance for a Paediatrician looking to develop a busy community-based specialist practice with exceptional earning potential, while working alongside Family Physicians, specialists and allied healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

- Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of paediatric presentations
- Provide specialist consultations for infants, children and adolescents
- Manage acute, chronic and complex paediatric conditions
- Assess developmental, behavioural and growth concerns
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations
- Coordinate referrals and ongoing care with Family Physicians and other specialists
- Provide preventative healthcare and guidance to children and their families
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation




- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment

Qualifications

- Medical Degree with recognised postgraduate training in Paediatrics
- Specialist certification in Paediatrics from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or equivalent international specialist qualification
- Internationally trained Paediatricians with recognised UK, US, Australian or equivalent specialist training are encouraged to apply, subject to Ontario licensing eligibility
- Eligible for independent practice with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, child- and family-centred approach
