We are looking to add a team member to our PMR team under Editorial Creative. This role will require close collaboration with the team to support workflows and manage independent production responsibilities.

Team Objectives

This team supports the viewing experience on the client platform by completing a variety of tasks requiring research, metadata, and film content expertise. Some tasks work in tandem with the platform's recommendation algorithm, while others improve discoverability, accuracy, and optimize the viewer experience on the platform (including ad-insertion support). The team also works on Ratings Policy by reviewing and tagging content for cautionary elements and applying appropriate regional metadata through research.

Team members are expected to work on all content from the client catalog that comes their way. Some content may be sensitive.

Responsibilities

- Apply judgment, domain expertise, and critical analysis to determine accurate results based on established guidelines
- Mark in/out positions for optimal playback experience of content
- Handle both repetitive and complex tasks efficiently
- Perform accurate data entry
- Review and evaluate written materials and/or visual content, applying tags, annotations, markers, and descriptive metadata to optimize viewing experiences
- Collaborate within a cross-functional and international team environment
- Consistently meet predetermined data targets
- Adhere to required meetings and team processes

Minimum Requirements
- Proficiency in French language
- Experience with editorial and video tagging
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with digital content management systems
- Strong interest in movies and TV
- Research, critical thinking, and story analytics skills
- Fluency or strong written English language skills; additional languages are a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks of varying complexity simultaneously
- BA/BS degree and/or creative or entertainment industry background

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working with digital content and metadata
- Understanding of the digital content landscape and streaming/movie platforms
- Experience applying editorial/audio-visual literacy in areas such as online merchandising or entertainment-focused digital content
- Previous experience in tagging, research, and metadata is a plus
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus
