Duties

- Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors to ensure timely meal service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Serve meals efficiently to guests or staff,



ensuring presentation and quality meet established guidelines
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels
- Support the overall kitchen operation by cleaning dishes, utensils, and work areas regularly

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for eager learners
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations is a plus
- Experience in meal preparation or cooking demonstrates a strong foundation for this role
- Knowledge of the food industry standards related to sanitation, hygiene, and safety is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
