Corporate Actions Associate: On behalf of our Banking position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Corporate Actions Associate - : This role involves providing daily support for Corporate Actions, focusing on Firm Trading and Equity Finance accounts. The associate will manage the full lifecycle processing of North American corporate action events, ensuring efficient operations within a Tier 1 broker dealer environment.

Corporate Actions Associate - Responsibilities:

- Full lifecycle processing of corporate action events
- Liaise with trading desks, ops groups, and institutional counterparties
- Monitor and clear cash/stock reconciliations
- Integrate voluntary corporate actions processing into current systems
- Manage complex corporate action types with associated risks
- Act as SME in Corporate Actions & Entitlements
- Maintain key controls and review processes quarterly
- Identify and escalate potential risk situations

Corporate Actions Associate - Mandatory Skills:





- 3+ years experience in asset servicing
- Strong AI proficiency
- Undergraduate degree with a solid mathematics component
- Experience servicing cash Prime Brokerage clients
- Strong understanding of voluntary election arbitrage
- Strong working knowledge of Canadian BPS, CDS, DTC, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Corporate Actions Associate – Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Project Management experience
- Experience with reporting tools and prototype development
- Familiarity with project lifecycle methodologies
- Proven teamwork and cooperation in cross-functional environments
