Transform lives as a Counsellor with The Salvation Army, focusing on goal-centered programs for adults with developmental disabilities. Emphasize nurturing environments to promote independence and ensure quality living. In this position, you will collaboratively plan and evaluate Person-directed treatment plans alongside Service Users and team members.

Your role encompasses addressing physical needs and fostering emotional well-being through robust therapeutic relationships. Scheduling will be flexible to meet diverse operational needs. Key Responsibilities:

- Implement individualized programs promoting independence
- Collaborate with teams for coordinated care delivery
- Maintain accurate administrative records in AIMS
- Promote and support System Users’ spiritual and emotional needs
- Ensure transportation to appointments Requirements:
- Two years experience working with developmental disabilities
- Diploma in Developmental Social Work or equivalent
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Driver’s license that meets Ontario standards
- Criminal Records Check required Deliver impactful support and care to enhance quality of life for individuals within the community.
