The Brenda Strafford

Foundation in Calgary and Okotoks is looking for a compassionate Counsellor targeting family violence issues. This role encompasses individual therapeutic support, group facilitation, and effective case management to ensure client safety and empowerment. You will be instrumental in constructing discharge plans and identifying community resources to assist participants in their journey. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide trauma-informed individual counseling
- Track and manage participant case files
- Lead supportive group therapy sessions
- Conduct targeted family stability interventions
- Refer clients to suitable community supports Requirements:
- A degree in Social Work or Psychology
- 4+ years working with children/youth in crisis
- Must have NVCI certification
- CPR and First Aid certified
