Venus Auto Parts is hiring a reliable and knowledgeable Automotive Parts Counter Person to assist retail and wholesale customers with finding the correct parts for their vehicles.

The ideal candidate understands automotive parts, communicates clearly, and can work accurately in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist customers in person and over the phone
- Identify the correct parts using the vehicle’s year, make, model, engine and VIN
- Use electronic parts catalogues and inventory systems
- Prepare quotes, invoices, orders and customer receipts
- Answer questions about pricing, availability and product options
- Communicate with repair shops, technicians, suppliers and delivery drivers
- Receive, label, organize and stock incoming inventory
- Process returns, warranties and special orders
- Keep the counter, showroom and inventory areas organized
- Follow up with customers regarding ordered parts
- Maintain accurate customer and transaction records

Requirements

- Automotive parts knowledge is required
- Previous parts counter, dealership,



repair shop or automotive retail experience is strongly preferred
- Experience using electronic parts catalogues is an asset
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Comfortable using computers, email and point-of-sale systems
- Able to manage multiple customers and phone calls efficiently
- Accurate when recording vehicle and part information
- Dependable, punctual and qualified
- Able to lift automotive parts and packages safely
- Available to work Saturdays when scheduled
