We are seeking an experienced Aviation Cybersecurity Engineering Professional to support cybersecurity certification and continuing airworthiness across existing and new aircraft platforms.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of cybersecurity, aircraft systems, certification, and airworthiness, collaborating with engineering teams, suppliers, regulators, and industry partners.

What will you do?

- Define and support aircraft- and system-level cybersecurity requirements.
- Review supplier architectures and assess cybersecurity protection measures.
- Analyze aircraft cybersecurity architectures, identify vulnerabilities, and assess associated risks.
- Support and lead cybersecurity penetration testing, investigations, and resolution of findings.
- Lead cybersecurity incident investigations and coordinate resolution with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and review design compliance documentation and support certification activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Avionics, RMAS, Completions, AWOR, Customer Support, and other organizations.
- Participate in preliminary and critical system design reviews.
- Maintain and improve cybersecurity processes in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.




- Represent Bombardier at cybersecurity conferences and industry committees.
- Contribute to the evolution and roadmap of the Aircraft Cybersecurity (CYBR) domain.
- Mentor and support junior cybersecurity professionals.

What you bring

- University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of technical engineering experience, including at least 2 years in cybersecurity and 2 years in aerospace.
- Knowledge of computer networks, electronics, operating systems, and software programming.
- Experience or knowledge of aircraft systems integration and civil aircraft certification.
- Knowledge of IT and/or Aviation Information Security Management System (ISMS) principles.
- Working knowledge of aviation cybersecurity standards, particularly DO-326B, DO-356A, DO-355A, DO-391, DO-392, and CS 25.1319.
- Robust analytical, communication, organizational, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong written and spoken English; functional French is an asset.
