The Custodian is responsible for a variety of maintenance, cleaning, and sanitation projects within West Edmonton Mall.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Performing the daily cleaning and maintenance duties for West Edmonton Mall’s common areas, food courts, washrooms, and offices.
- Ensuring all set standards of cleanliness are adhered to at all times.
- Checking all areas for any deficiencies and damages and reporting them to a supervisor.
- Ensuring WHMIS guidelines are followed at all times.
- Other responsibilities as required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous cleaning experience is an asset.
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
- The ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours a day.
- Excellent communication, and customer service skills complemented by a strong sense of professionalism and a keen eye for detail.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

- This is a part-time position that requires a versatile schedule Monday through Sunday, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
