Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and personable Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a robust background in dental or medical office administration, and proficiency with electronic health records. This paid position offers an opportunity to be the first point of contact for our patients while supporting smooth clinic operations.

Duties

- Greet and check-in patients efficiently, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, scheduling appointments, and answering inquiries with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix and Epic.
- Verify insurance information, process payments, and handle billing procedures accurately.
- Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative tasks to ensure clinic efficiency.




- Communicate effectively with team members regarding appointment schedules and patient needs.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all health and safety regulations within the office environment.

Qualifications

- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix and Epic is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care.
- Proven experience managing electronic medical records and multi-line phone systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly demeanor.
- Office experience in a fast-paced environment is essential; previous dental or medical office experience is a plus.
