TVO is seeking a passionate, collaborative, and results-oriented fundraising professional to manage our monthly and midlevel donor portfolios. Does this describe you? The Development Officer, Monthly and Midlevel Giving will be responsible for growing revenue and strengthening TVO’s community of loyal supporters. The incumbent will manage a portfolio of monthly and midlevel donors and prospects, engaging them with TVO’s programs and impact to encourage renewed and increased support. Using a mix of personalized outreach, direct marketing, and digital engagement, the Development Officer will provide thoughtful stewardship and create meaningful opportunities for donors to connect with TVO’s mission.

How you will make an impact

- Manage a portfolio of 500+ monthly and midlevel donors and prospects, with responsibility for achieving annual revenue, retention, renewal, and upgrade goals
- Develop and implement annual strategies and workplans for monthly and midlevel donor engagement in collaboration with the Manager, Annual Giving
- Engage donors with TVO’s programs and impact to deepen their connection to the organization and inspire continued support




- Encourage donors to renew and increase their support through thoughtful, timely, and relevant communications
- Develop and implement strategies to grow TVO’s monthly giving program, including donor acquisition, conversion, upgrading, reactivation, retention, and recognition
- Review annual giving campaign responses and donor data to identify and qualify new monthly and Midlevel prospects
- Identify monthly and midlevel donors with the interest and capacity to become major or legacy giving prospects
- Plan and support donor stewardship activities and events
- Coordinate with external vendors on donor premiums, gift processing, and other services that support the Philanthropy team
- Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and other internal teams to develop donor communications, engagement opportunities, and stewardship materials
- Oversee and contribute to the creative development, messaging, and segmentation of monthly and midlevel donor mailings, emails and outreach campaigns
- Monitor and report on program performance, donor activity, and campaign results, recommending opportunities to strengthen engagement and increase revenue
- Maintain accurate and timely donor records, contact reports, and portfolio activity in Raiser’s Edge and related systems
- Conduct ongoing evaluation of TVO’s monthly and midlevel giving programs and recommend improvements to program design, donor journeys, and engagement strategies
- Ensure fundraising activities reflect donor stewardship standards, ethical fundraising practices, and TVO’s corporate and legal requirements
- Ensure vendor and supplier agreements meet TVO’s corporate and legal requirements

What you will bring to TVO

- Minimum of three years of fundraising, donor relations, or donor stewardship experience
- Knowledge of fundamental fundraising practices, including donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
- Demonstrated ability to build solid relationships and engage donors
- A genuine interest in learning about donors’ motivations, interests, and connection to TVO’s mission
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills,



with the confidence to initiate conversations and make personalized fundraising asks
- Experience managing a donor portfolio and developing tailored engagement or stewardship strategies
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience using donor databases and maintaining accurate records, with Raiser’s Edge experience considered an asset
- Ability to review donor information and campaign results to identify trends, prospects, and opportunities for increased engagement
- Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Collaborative and able to work effectively with colleagues across teams and departments
- Flexible and solutions-oriented, with the ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve problems
