Lead court management and services as Director with the Nova Scotia Department of Justice in Halifax. This permanent role involves strategic oversight and operational excellence across various court services. As Director, Court Services, you will be a key member of the Senior Management Team in the Justice Department.
Your responsibilities include driving operational efficiencies, managing staff, and developing programs to enhance court administration. You will ensure the maintenance of judicial independence while fostering relationships with stakeholders and the legal community. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee cost-effective court services delivery
- Motivate staff, providing strategic direction
- Ensure team-oriented planning and service improvements
- Lead program delivery in family and criminal law
- Manage externally funded programs and reporting Requirements:
- University degree in law or public administration
- Extensive senior management experience in public service
- Background in finance, HR, and program development
- Effective problem-solving and collaboration skills
