Director of Sales – Utility ManagementWatchdog Management Services

Watchdog Management Services is looking for an experienced Director of Sales to lead and grow our commercial utility sales division.

This is a leadership role focused on building and managing a high-performing sales team, expanding our referral and strategic partner network, and driving new commercial electricity and natural gas business.

Key Responsibilities

- Recruit, hire, train and manage a commercial utility sales team.
- Establish sales targets, processes and accountability across the team.
- Coach and support sales representatives to improve performance and close new business.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of commercial utility opportunities.
- Identify, recruit and develop new referral and strategic partners that can generate ongoing business.
- Strengthen relationships with existing partners and develop strategies to increase referral volume.
- Build relationships with business owners, executives, property managers and other key decision-makers.
- Lead larger commercial opportunities and support the sales team through complex sales cycles.
- Work closely with Watchdog's utility management team to identify savings opportunities and develop client recommendations.
- Track team performance, pipeline, forecasts, partner activity and overall sales results.




- Develop and execute strategies to expand Watchdog's commercial utility business into recent markets and client segments.

What We're Looking ForWe’re looking for a proven sales leader who knows how to build a team and create a scalable sales organization, not simply manage an existing book of business. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting and developing salespeople, building B2B relationships, creating referral channels and holding a team accountable to measurable results.

Experience in commercial utilities, energy, property management or commercial real estate would be an asset, but strong sales leadership and business development experience are most important.

The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, driven and comfortable taking ownership of the growth of Watchdog's utility sales division.
