Duties

- Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored to uphold health standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for menu items
- Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and maintaining cleanliness in work stations throughout shifts
- Follow food handling safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met
- Help with dishwashing duties during busy service hours to keep pace with restaurant demands
- Maintain a tidy work environment by disposing of waste appropriately and cleaning surfaces regularly




- Collaborate with chefs and servers to facilitate smooth kitchen operations and excellent guest experiences

Requirements

- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and food handling safety regulations
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a hygienic workspace
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices
- Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to grow in the culinary field is highly valued
