Duties

- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items according to recipe specifications.
- Support the kitchen team by maintaining stock levels of supplies and ingredients through proper food handling and storage practices.
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines diligently to ensure a hygienic environment for both staff and guests.
- Help with light cooking duties as directed by the chef or kitchen supervisor, including preparing simple dishes or garnishes.
- Maintain organized workstations to promote an effective workflow during busy service hours.




- Collaborate with restaurant staff to deliver excellent food service experiences while adhering to hospitality standards.

Skills

- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and maintaining sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting.
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with food service operations.
- Basic kitchen skills including food preparation, cooking assistance, and food handling techniques.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
