Job Summary

Ullou Lounge B Town is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, organized and sanitary kitchen while assisting with basic food preparation and daily kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

- Wash dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
- Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized and free of hazards
- Assist with basic food preparation, such as washing and cutting vegetables
- Properly store clean dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Clean kitchen floors, counters, walls, sinks and other work areas
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners
- Help receive, organize and store food deliveries
- Follow food-safety, sanitation and workplace-safety procedures
- Inform the kitchen team when ingredients, cleaning products or supplies are running low
- Assist cooks and other kitchen staff as required




- Complete opening, closing and deep-cleaning duties

Requirements
- Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but training can be provided
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, quick-paced environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Available to work evenings, late nights, weekends and holidays
- Ontario Food Handler Certificate is an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
