About us

We are looking for a Dishwasher/Kitchen Help with a passion for culinary arts to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a restaurant or catering kitchen and be able to prepare various types of food in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
- Put away clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in their designated storage areas.
- Properly use and maintain dishwashing equipment, detergents, and sanitizers.
- Maintain clean and dry floors throughout the shift.
- Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
- Empty and maintain garbage, recycling, and compost bins throughout the shift.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dry storage areas and storage shelves.
- Follow all food safety, workplace health and safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with basic food preparation and other kitchen tasks as directed by the Chef.




- Support the kitchen team with additional cleaning, organization, and general duties as required.

Requirements

- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Previous experience in a dishwasher, kitchen, restaurant, catering, banquet, hotel, or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper cleaning procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen workplace and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to take direction from the Chef and kitchen team.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 per hour
