Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Food Preparation Worker to join our team in a dynamic culinary environment. This role involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting kitchen operations to ensure smooth service. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food service, strong attention to hygiene, and experience in restaurant or hospitality settings.

Responsibilities

- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Take out garbage and recycling as needed
- Follow food safety and handling procedures diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Assist with food prep (chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, sauces, etc.)




- Help restock kitchen stations
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support kitchen team as needed

Requirements

- Prior dishwashing experience preferred
- Basic food prep experience an asset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
