The Prospect

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Dispatcher to join our team in Milton, Ontario.

This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for coordinating daily freight movements, booking and scheduling loads, assigning drivers, and ensuring pickups and deliveries are completed safely and on time.

The Dispatcher will work closely with drivers, customers, internal operations teams, and our Mexico office, so strong communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and dispatch daily freight movements across Canada, USA, and Mexico
- Book and schedule loads and assign drivers and equipment
- Plan efficient routes and monitor driver progress
- Track pickups and deliveries and proactively address delays or service issues
- Communicate with drivers, customers, carriers, and internal teams
- Provide timely updates regarding load status, ETAs, delays,



and changes
- Work directly with our Mexico operations team
- Enter and maintain accurate information in dispatch and transportation management systems
- Verify shipping and transportation documentation
- Monitor load status and ensure appointments are met
- Resolve routing, scheduling, and service issues in real time
- Manage multiple loads and priorities in a fast-paced workplace

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous experience in dispatch, trucking, logistics, transportation, or load booking is preferred
- Strong knowledge of freight dispatching, scheduling, and route planning
- Experience with Dry Van, Reefer, and/or Flatbed operations is an asset
- Knowledge of Canada/USA/Mexico cross-border transportation is an asset
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable using dispatch software, GPS/tracking systems, email and spreadsheets
- Knowledge of GTA and Ontario road networks is an asset
- Knowledge of transportation safety and regulatory requirements is an asset




- High school diploma or equivalent required; transportation/logistics education is an asset

? MANDATORY LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT

Fluent Spanish and English are REQUIRED for this position.

The successful candidate will communicate regularly with our Mexico office, drivers, customers, and internal teams in both languages. Strong verbal communication in both English and Spanish is essential to performing this role successfully.
