We are looking for a qualified Fulltime Early Childhood Educator to join our team!

We have 2 locations: our daycare and our after-school program/camps. Our priority is to hire staff to work as educators in our afterschool care program at Elizabeth Rummel School. Hours at the school are approximately 2:00 - 6:00pm Monday -Friday with additional hours Fridays, PD Days, and during our school holiday program. The rest of your fulltime position will be spent at our daycare centre.

Responsibilities include

- Supervising and ensuring the safety of all children
- Observing and documenting
- Planning and facilitating
- Guiding children's behaviours in a positive way
- Supporting children's emotional and physical needs
- Attending staff trainings and workshops
- Familiar with Child Care Licensing Regulations

Educators are required to have:
- Level 1, 2, or 3 Alberta Child Care Certification
- First Aid/CPR
- Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Intermediate English

As a Level 1, 2,



or 3 certified educator, you will receive a top-up wage in addition to the base wage while working with children. Salary: $20-$30 per hour plus top-up depending on childcare certification level and position

Level 1: additional $2.64 an hour

Level 2: additional $5.04 an hour

Level 3: additional $8.62 an hour

Unfortunately we do not provide staff accommodation and ask that you have housing secured in the Bow Valley before we proceed with the hiring process. Canadian citizenship, PR, or valid work permit is required. Sponsorship is not provided by the organization.
