Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA), Early Childhood Educator (ECE), ECE-IT Teacher, or Responsible Adult to join our vibrant educational team. This role is vital in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive environment where young children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Duties

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in young children.
- Foster a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists in both English and French to ensure clear understanding and collaborative support.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety at all times.
- Utilize computer skills for record-keeping, lesson planning, and communicating with families through digital platforms.
- Manage classroom organization efficiently by maintaining supplies, scheduling activities,



and documenting progress regularly.
- Lead by example with strong leadership qualities while demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications

- Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; experience with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
- Formal training in early childhood education (ECE) or related fields; certifications such as ECEA or ECE are preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French to support diverse language needs within the classroom.
- Knowledge of special education strategies to effectively support children with varying abilities.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Demonstrated computer operation skills for documentation, lesson planning, and communication purposes.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom resources and schedules efficiently.
- Ability to lead activities confidently while maintaining a nurturing setting that promotes learning and development.
