Duties and responsibilities:

- Electrical design, including the updating of electrical drawings.
- Prepare Technical specifications for instrumentation and control systems.
- Develop controls schematics, PLC, HMI and drive system programing.
- Identify and resolves readily identifiable, clearly defined problems.
- Inspect electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to make sure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations.
- Develop testing and maintenance procedures for electronic equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment motor controls, safety sensors and relays.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and regulatory policies, and practices ensuring safe, efficient and consistent operation and maintenance of equipment and processes

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will possess:

- A recognized degree in electrical engineering or an electrical technologist certification with suitable experience.





- At least 6 years experience with PLC controls.

Allen Bradley

Logix PLC controls, and SIEMENS S7 Programming platforms are desirable.

- Experience with full lifecycle project experience: From controls hardware design to PLC programming. and to commissioning projects.

- Familiar with automated systems and process control

- Ability to function with minimal supervision.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Self-motivated with a proven ability to get the job done.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills.

- Team player with good interpersonal skills

- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office programs

- Must possess a high level of effective written and verbal communication skills
