Merchant Machine Tools is hiring an experienced Fabrication Equipment Technician to service and support our fabrication equipment lineup — laser cutting, plasma cutting, press brakes, band saws, and shears. This is a hybrid role — shop-based work on in-house inventory, plus local/regional field calls. Home most nights.

You'll be responsible for:Installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting across our full fabrication equipment line — fiber laser cutting tables (Nukon), plasma cutting tables (Hypertherm), press brakes (Delem, ESA controls), band saws (Hydmech), and hydraulic shears. Work spans CNC/PLC diagnostics, servo and motion-control systems, hydraulic systems, and mechanical alignment/calibration across all equipment types.

What you bring:



3+ years hands-on experience servicing fabrication equipment, with robust mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills. Comfort reading electrical/hydraulic schematics and working with CNC/PLC controls. Valid driver's license.
