Job Overview:

This is an exciting 16-month co-op student prospect to provide support to the Facilities Integrity Team. The successful co-op student will provide technical support on the development, implementation and maintenance of Facilities Integrity Management Programs covering tanks, pressure vessels and facility piping system operations.

Position Responsibilities

- Support Facilities Integrity team on the development, implementation, and maintenance of Management Programs; execute requests from management and stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Participate in Engineering Assessments (Fitness-for-Service) and Failure Root Cause Investigations to support the development of repair execution plans to maintain the integrity and reliability of our assets.
- Populate an RBI facility piping database, complete field validation of integrity data (QC/QA) and assist with risk assessments to prioritize facility piping for short and long-term inspection programs.
- Help develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and risk assessments tools to support inspection planning, scope development, cost estimates RFQs and risk-based decisions.
- Assist in developing proof-of-concept dashboards that consolidate piping, AST, and vessel deficiency data into a single platform to improve data quality and integrity planning efficiency.




- Plan and implement work in accordance with the company's health, safety and environmental policies, company engineering and construction standards, regulatory requirements, and applicable legislation.
- Ensure that correspondence is conducted in a manner that ensures sound relationships with company personnel and contractors.
- Support the drive for continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures.

Office setting with occasional day travel throughout the Kingston Midstream facility and pipeline system.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Enrollment in an Engineering program at a qualified education institution
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills
- Ability to work and communicate with internal and external stakeholders on a frequent basis, including both office and field staff
- Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's license and an acceptable driver's abstract is an asset

This position may work remotely Mondays and Fridays and in Kingston Midstream’s head office Tuesday to Thursday.
