Are you a dedicated technician looking to grow your career in telecom? Bravocon Inc. is seeking a reliable Fiber Splicing Technician to join our team. Operating daily out of our base location in Queensville, ON, you will handle field splicing, testing, and network troubleshooting.

This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who can work independently on-site but thrives in a cooperative team network when cross-functional telecom support is needed.

Key Responsibilities

· Splicing & Testing: Perform high-quality fusion splicing, termination, and testing using fusion splicers and OTDR test sets.

· Documentation & Blueprints: Read, interpret, and accurately execute technical splicing packages, schematics, and network diagrams.

· Travel & Independence: Work alone efficiently in the field with the flexibility to travel depending on regional project demands.

· Cross-Functional Telecom Support: Demonstrate versatility by willingly assisting with other telecom tasks, installations, aerial or utility work as required by the Bravocon team.

· Safety & Maintenance: Keep vehicle, tools,



and test equipment clean and in excellent working order while strictly adhering to safety guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

· Experience: Previous fiber splicing or telecom field experience is highly preferred.

· Technical Skills: Proven proficiency with fusion splicers and OTDR testing equipment.

· Driving Record: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.

· Environment: Ability to work comfortably outdoors in any weather conditions and handle the physical demands of the job.

· Teamwork & Independence: Strong capability to operate autonomously in the field while maintaining excellent communication and collaboration with team members.

Pay: $26.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week

- Fiber Ribbon Splicing: 2 years (required)
- Telecommunication Infrastructure Build : 2 years (required)
