LN Land Development Technologies is looking for an experienced Field Surveyor to join our team on a project in Northern British Columbia, in the Fort St. John area .
This is a fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) opportunity offering a 14/14 or 14/7 rotation , camp accommodations , and a competitive wage of $50.00–$60.00 per hour , based on experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform field surveys for construction and industrial project activities
- Complete construction layout, staking, as-builts, topographic surveys, and grade checks
- Operate Trimble GPS/GNSS, Total Stations, and other survey equipment
- Collect, verify, and maintain accurate field survey data
- Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
- Complete field calculations and ensure survey work meets project requirements
- Maintain accurate field notes, records, and documentation
- Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, contractors, and other field personnel
- Follow all site-specific safety procedures and LN safety requirements
- Work independently in a remote Northern BC project environment
WHAT YOU BRING
- Previous field/construction surveying experience
- Strong experience with Trimble survey equipment and Trimble Access
- Experience with construction layout, earthworks, grading, and as-built surveys
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction plans
- Robust understanding of survey calculations and field procedures
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract
- Ability to successfully complete project-specific Drug & Alcohol testing
- Ability to work extended shifts in an outdoor, remote environment
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safe work practices
Experience working on oil & gas, pipeline, civil construction, infrastructure, or other industrial projects in Northern BC or Western Canada is considered a strong asset.
