Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, kitchen, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation and basic food handling tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service for all guests
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly,

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and transactions
- Experience with food preparation, serving, and hospitality best practices is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills for guest interactions and teamwork within the restaurant staff
