Currently looking for a permanent PT driver and general helper for a family run flower shop located on the West side of Vancouver.

Responsibilities and duties

- Delivery and pick up of floral and supply products safely and on time for residential and corporate clients in the Greater Vancouver area
- Picking up inventory, loading/unloading, receiving, and processing cut and plant products, help rotate inventory 2-3 times per week
- sweeping, cardboard disposal, organics and trash removal
- Calling customers to confirm delivery information
- Report any maintenance needs or vehicle concerns, ensuring timely repairs are completed
- Adhere strictly to road safety regulations, prioritizing the safety of the vehicle, cargo, and all road users
- Ability to lift and carry floral products and supply boxes weighing up to 50 lbs regularly

Experience and requirements:




- Class 5 license - clean driver abstract required with minimum 3 years driving experience
- Ability to drive a large company panel van
- General knowledge of the GVA an asset
- Must have a phone for mapping routes and be in contact with shop during working hours
- Part time 3+ days a week (Mon, Thurs, Friday. Occasional days in between
- Shift hours average 10:00am to 3:00pm
- Fluent in English. Cantonese or Mandarin an asset.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: From $21.00 per hour
