Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare and serve food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently, including cash handling and providing correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and service equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of the food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
- Kitchen experience or background in food preparation is a plus for supporting team operations
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and drive sales
