Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Food Service Worker/Cashier, where you will be the friendly face and efficient operator behind the food service counter. Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of food items following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and assisting with menu selections
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, dining spaces, and cashier stations
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely food service during busy periods




- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for quick and accurate transactions
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Kitchen experience or restaurant background is highly desirable for understanding food service operations
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Enthusiastic about serving others and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction

Pay: From $18.25 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
