Job Summary

Join our team as a Forklift Operator and Warehouse Worker. You will operate various types of equipment, including forklifts, floor scrubbers and tugging cart. Your mechanical knowledge and attention to detail will ensure smooth operations, safety, and accuracy in fulfilling customer orders.

Duties

- Safely operate forklifts and other equipment, move materials throughout the warehouse
- Assist in order picking by communicating with Packing line supervisor about pallets of produce that are ready to be loaded
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely to load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and storage
- Support warehouse distribution activities by verifying order accuracy
- Follow safety protocols during all equipment operation and material handling tasks
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals

Requirements





- Proven experience operating forklifts and other equipment in a warehouse workplace
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts
- Physical strength to perform heavy lifting regularly and stand or walk for extended periods
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and proper equipment handling techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a greenhouse warehouse distribution is preferred

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
