About the Role

AF Cold Storage is looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our cold storage operations team in Ingersoll.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of frozen products throughout the warehouse, including receiving, loading, unloading, picking, staging and putting away pallets. This position also includes general warehouse and labour duties as required.

Candidates must be comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments and performing physical warehouse duties in addition to operating a forklift.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a forklift to receive, load, unload, pick, stage and put away pallets.
- Verify products, pallet quantities and condition during receiving and shipping.
- Maintain accurate inventory movement and complete required warehouse documentation.
- Perform general warehouse duties including pallet wrapping, labelling, restacking, cleaning and organizing.




- Follow all company health, safety, food safety and cold storage procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Minimum 1–2 years of forklift and warehouse experience.
- Previous forklift operating experience; valid certification preferred.
- Cold storage, refrigerated, frozen or food warehouse experience is an asset.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments.
- Able to perform physical and general labour duties throughout the shift.
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
