About The Role

Joining National Bank as a Full Stack Developer offers a unique opportunity to be part of the Capital Markets development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications that directly support traders and other stakeholders within the Capital Markets division. Your work will involve close collaboration with traders to understand their workflows, translating their needs into efficient technological solutions.

You will oversee the entire application lifecycle—from gathering requirements, designing solutions, coding, testing, deploying, to providing ongoing production support. This role provides insight into the tangible impact of your work on the bank’s trading operations and overall business performance.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of professional full-stack development experience, with a proven track record of delivering complete applications or projects. You should have strong expertise in back-end development using Python, complemented by proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.





Experience with React or Angular is highly valued. Familiarity with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, is considered an asset. Additionally, knowledge of version control systems like Git, agile methodologies, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines will enhance your suitability for this role.

Candidates with experience or interest in using AI development tools, cloud platforms like AWS, containerization with Docker, or orchestration with Kubernetes will have an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with a high level of ownership and attention to detail. Knowledge of finance, trading, or Capital Markets is a plus, and a curiosity to deepen your expertise in these areas is highly encouraged.

Responsibilities

- Partner directly with traders and other Capital Markets stakeholders to translate complex business needs into practical, scalable technology solutions.
- Manage the complete development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Develop and maintain reliable, scalable, and high-performance full-stack applications tailored to trading and market activities.
- Investigate production issues promptly, identify root causes, and implement improvements to enhance system performance, stability, and security.




- Collaborate with fellow developers, technology teams, and stakeholders to continuously improve development practices, code quality, and application solutions.
- Mentor less-experienced developers, sharing expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
