We are seeking a dedicated full time Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric multidisciplinary therapy team as we expand to providing services in both London Ontario, St. Thomas and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive client care, develop individualized treatment plans, and support clients in achieving their rehabilitation goals. This role requires a compassionate skilled with strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in hospital and community settings, and Pediatrics an asset.
Duties
- Assess client needs (physical, emotional, and developmental) to create personalized therapy plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving functional abilities and independence.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document client evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate clients and their families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, etc.
- Manage caseloads efficiently,
prioritizing urgent cases and maintaining timely therapy schedules.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies.
Qualifications
- Valid license or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
- Prior experience in hospital and community settings preferred; experience in pediatrics preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and rehabilitation techniques.
- Proven ability in case management and client care coordination.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within healthcare teams.
- Compassionate approach with a focus on client centred care.

Pay: $70.00-$90.00 per hour
