LuxuryCart Corp is looking for a reliable, creative, and customer-focused Gift Shop & Floral Associate to join our team at our Mississauga location.

This is a hands-on retail position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with flowers, gifts, cakes, and customers and who takes pride in making every order look beautiful and presentable.

What You’ll Do

- Create and arrange fresh flower bouquets and simple floral arrangements
- Prepare flowers, trim stems, arrange greenery, and maintain flower displays
- Write customer messages on cakes neatly and accurately
- package cakes for customer pickup and delivery
- Gift wrap presents and create attractive gift packaging
- Assemble gift baskets and gift arrangements
- Prepare greeting cards, ribbons, balloons, and other gift items for orders
- Assist customers in selecting gifts, flowers, cakes, and other products
- Process customer orders and operate the POS system
- Keep the store, displays, flower area, and work areas clean and organized
- Help receive, organize, and restock inventory
- Prepare online orders for pickup and delivery
- Ensure every order is checked carefully before it leaves the store
- Provide friendly and professional customer service

What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is:
- Creative and artistic, especially with flowers and gift presentation
- Comfortable making flower arrangements and bouquets
- Able to write short messages on cakes neatly
- Experienced or comfortable with gift wrapping
- Detail-oriented and able to follow specific customer instructions
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers
- Organized and able to manage multiple orders during busy periods
- Comfortable using a computer, Shopify/POS,



and basic technology
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to take ownership of their work
- Able to work independently as well as part of a small team

Experience Experience in any of the following is an asset:
- Florist / floral design
- Gift shop or specialty retail
- Cake shop or bakery
- Gift wrapping
- Event decorating
- Floral arrangement
- Customer service

Formal floral training is not required if you have strong practical skills and a good eye for presentation.

Important

This is not a traditional retail-only position. We are specifically looking for someone who enjoys the creative and hands-on side of the business.

You should be comfortable doing things such as:

Flowers → Gift Wrapping → Cake Messages → Gift Packaging → Order Preparation → Customer Service A strong attention to detail is very important because many of our orders are prepared for birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, and special occasions.

Ability to commute/relocate

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
