Responsibilities

- Plan lessons and resources

- Teach techniques on strengthening and increasing speed in fingers

- Help students prepare for upcoming performances
- follow studio policies (to be discussed during interview)

- to interact and stay organized with studio manager
- respond to emails or text quickly
- punctual start and end of lesson time with each student, along with perfect attendance
- organized in keeping tabs on schedule, demos, and make-ups.

- Communicate with the studio director on a regular basis

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

- excellent guitar skills
- a good knowledge of guitar styles (ie: jazz, classical, etc.)

- patient and enthusiastic
- good communication skills
- self – motivated and good organizational skills
- a positive sense of humor and comfortable talking with students and parents

Education &

Experience *

- Teacher must be familiar with genres other than Classical

- MUST have some music certifications , and/or degree related to music

- Experience in teaching children

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
