Responsibilities

- Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas

- Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials

- Perform minor repairs and handyperson tasks (e.g., fixing loose fixtures, tightening hardware, patching drywall, basic plumbing or electrical touch-ups, light carpentry)

- Change light bulbs, filters, and other routine maintenance items

- Climb stairs regularly to access upper floors, storage areas, and equipment

- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and minor emergencies (spills, leaks, etc.)

- Maintain outdoor areas as needed (sweeping walkways, minor landscaping, minor snow/ice removal)

- Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA standards

- Report larger repair needs to management





Qualifications:

- Previous custodial, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred

- Basic handyperson skills (knowledge and use of tools, carpentry, and general repair experience)

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods

- Robust attention to detail and reliability

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements

- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders multiple times per shift

- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50lsb

- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods

- Must be able to bend, kneel, and reach as needed for cleaning and repair tasks
