Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and tutoring, with the ability to work effectively with children of various ages and learning abilities. This role involves providing personalized instruction in subjects such as Math, Chemistry and Physics, while fostering a supportive and engaging learning workplace.

Duties

- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Teaching online and in-person
- Assist students in understanding complex concepts in Math and Physics
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Create a positive, encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation

Experience

- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is required
- Proven tutoring experience,



particularly in Math and Physics and Chemistry, is highly desirable
- experience teaching/tutoring math at a Grade 10 to 12 level
- Ability to multitask and balance working with up to 5 students at a time

Job Type: Casual Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 24.0 per week

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
