Job Summary
Join our energetic healthcare team as a Holter Technician, where your expertise will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing cardiac health. In this energized and detail-oriented position, you will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and analyzing Holter monitor recordings—ambulatory ECG devices that track heart activity over extended periods. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will ensure accurate data collection, contributing to life-changing diagnoses and treatment plans.

Responsibilities
- Retrieve and download Holter monitor data from returned devices
- Scan and process 24–48 hour (or longer) ambulatory ECG recordings using Holter analysis software
- Identify and annotate arrhythmias, ectopic beats, ST-segment changes, and other relevant cardiac events
- Edit and correct computer-generated interpretations for accuracy prior to physician review
- Generate clear, well-organized Holter reports in the clinic's standard format
- Flag any critical or urgent findings to the physician promptly
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely turnaround of reports
- Ensure devices are cleaned, tested, and prepared for reuse after data retrieval
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with PHIPA and clinic privacy policies
Qualifications
- Certification or training in ECG/Holter monitoring, Cardiology Technology, or a related field
- Experience scanning and interpreting Holter recordings using standard analysis software (e.g., Mortara, Spacelabs, or similar)
- Solid understanding of basic and intermediate arrhythmia recognition
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in report generation
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Prior clinic or cardiology office experience an asset
- Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., OSCAR, Accuro) a plus
