Healthcare Assistant / Caregiver (Home Care)

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants / Caregivers to join our team at Peridot Homecare.

This role involves providing in-home support to clients, helping them maintain comfort, independence, and quality of life in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and basic exercises
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, organizing)
- Remind or assist with medications (non-administrative)
- Support clients during recovery or post-surgery care




- Monitor and report changes in client condition

Requirements:

- Caring, patient, and dependable personality
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a home setting
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is an asset
- Relevant certifications (e.g., HCA, First Aid/CPR) are an asset

Compensation:
