Duties

- Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, creating a positive first impression
- Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS, and coordinate seating to optimize table turnover
- Answer incoming phone calls with courtesy and clarity, providing information about wait times or reservation details
- Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times accurately to guests
- Assist servers and kitchen staff by relaying guest needs and ensuring smooth flow of service
- Keep the host/hostess station clean, organized,



and stocked with necessary supplies
- Handle guest inquiries or concerns politely, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction

Requirements

- Proven experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality roles is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with food service operations and restaurant environment preferred
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS; hotel experience is a plus
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional appearance
- Prior food service or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
