Job Overview:

We are seeking a warm, professional, and organized Host/Hostess to join the team at Soluna. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play an essential role in shaping their overall experience by providing a warm welcome and seamless seating arrangement. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced fine dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests with a friendly and qualified demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and walk-ins, ensuring accurate table assignments and waitlist management.
- Communicate effectively with guests about wait times, seating arrangements, and any special requests or accommodations.
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth table turnover and a seamless flow of guests.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, offering assistance with any initial questions about the restaurant or menu items.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess stand and entrance areas.




- Handle guest inquiries and phone reservations in a polite and professional manner.
- Monitor guest satisfaction during their time in the restaurant and assist with any immediate concerns.
- Provide thoughtful and efficient customer service to ensure a positive guest experience from arrival to departure.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Knowledge:

- Understanding of fine dining service standards.
- Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable) is a plus.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Host/Hostess in a fine dining restaurant.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
