Job Summary:

As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host/Hostess plays a key role in setting the tone for the entire dining experience. We are looking for a polished, professional, and warm individual who can provide an outstanding first impression and manage the flow of the dining room with grace and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet all guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival
- Manage reservations and waitlists using the Open Table
- Coordinate seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover and exceptional service
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house and entrance area
- Provide accurate wait times and ensure guest comfort during their wait
- Communicate effectively with servers, management, and kitchen staff
- Uphold the high standards of service and hospitality that Via Allegro is known for

Qualifications:





- Previous experience in a host/hostess or customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for hospitality and a team-oriented attitude
