About Sensible Avenue
Sensible Avenue is an Ottawa home and facility services company. Clients book vetted housekeepers through the Sensible Avenue app, and every visit is GPS-verified with transparent, per-minute billing.
The role
We're looking for reliable, detail-oriented housekeepers to take cleaning jobs across Ottawa as independent contractors. You choose which jobs to accept in the app and build your own schedule.
What you'll do
- Clean homes, condos and apartments, from standard to deep cleaning
- Do move-in/move-out and Airbnb turnover cleans
- Optionally take office and post-construction cleaning jobs
- Follow each client's checklist and access instructions
- Check in and out in the app so every visit is verified
Pay and perks
- $29.25 per hour for jobs booked through the app
- Keep 100% of your tips
- Get paid to your bank through the app, with instant transfers available
- You're covered by the platform's commercial liability insurance on jobs booked through the app
- Accept only the jobs that fit your schedule
Requirements
- 18 years or older
- A smartphone (iPhone or Android)
- Pass a background check (criminal record and identity verification), completed in the app
- Your own cleaning tools and equipment; clients supply cleaning products
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset
