The Opportunity

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you’ll help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home for our residents by caring for resident suites and shared spaces throughout the residence.

Housekeeping is an important part of the resident experience. Your work will help ensure residents feel comfortable and proud of the place they call home. What You’ll Do

- Clean and maintain resident suites, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning floors, and sanitizing frequently touched surfaces.
- Care for common areas throughout the residence, including hallways, lounges, washrooms, recreational spaces, and other shared areas.
- Restock supplies and ensure resident and common areas are clean, organized, and ready for daily use.
- Use cleaning products, chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and according to established procedures.
- Follow appropriate sanitation and infection prevention practices to help maintain a healthy environment for residents and team members.
- Collect and dispose of waste and recycling according to established procedures.




- Monitor housekeeping supplies and communicate when additional products or materials are needed.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, damaged items, or potential safety hazards so they can be addressed promptly.
- Respect residents’ privacy, belongings, and personal space while completing housekeeping responsibilities.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to help maintain a comfortable and welcoming residence.

What You Bring

- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, janitorial, hospitality, or related experience is considered an asset.
- Experience working in retirement living, healthcare, hotels, or other residential environments is an advantage.
- A strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, floor care, and general housekeeping practices.
- The ability to safely use common housekeeping tools and equipment.
- An understanding of safe cleaning product and chemical handling practices.
- A dependable and respectful approach when working in residents’ personal living spaces.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
- Good time management skills and the ability to complete assigned responsibilities efficiently.
- The physical ability to perform housekeeping duties that may involve extended periods of standing and walking, as well as bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive movement.
