Who we are looking for:

Triple Eight Transport Inc. is looking for a proactive, organized, and people-focused HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role will support a broad range of HR functions, with a strong focus on employee engagement, employee experience, recruitment support, HR operations, and internal communications.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships with employees and managers, brings creativity to employee engagement initiatives, and is comfortable balancing multiple HR priorities in a fast-paced environment. You should be approachable, confident in your communication, creative with employee engagement initiatives, and comfortable supporting different areas of HR.

This role is well suited to someone who can combine strong HR fundamentals with excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and creative skills and who enjoys bringing new ideas to the table.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Engagement & Culture

- Plan, coordinate, and execute employee engagement activities, celebrations, and recognition initiatives.
- Develop creative initiatives to strengthen employee participation, connection, and overall workplace experience.
- Support employee surveys, feedback initiatives, and follow-up activities.
- Create engaging internal communications, announcements, presentations, videos, and other employee-focused content.
- Collaborate with different departments to encourage participation in company-wide engagement initiatives.
- Continuously explore new ideas and opportunities to enhance employee experience and workplace culture.

HR Generalist Responsibilities





- Support day-to-day HR activities throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, employee changes, performance management, and offboarding.
- Serve as an approachable point of contact for employees and managers regarding general HR questions, policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
- Build positive and qualified working relationships with employees and managers across different departments.
- Support employee relations matters and assist in addressing workplace concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate probation and performance review processes and follow up with managers to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and maintain employee documentation, HR letters, records, and other confidential information.
- Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures, and company initiatives.
- Assist with employee retention, recognition, development, and other people-focused initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the overall employee experience.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and consistency when handling employee-related matters.

Recruitment & Onboarding

- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, candidate communication, interview coordination, and follow-ups.
- Support onboarding and induction activities to provide new employees with positive and organized experience.
- Support recruitment events, career fairs, employer branding initiatives, and other talent attraction activities.
- Assist with recruitment-related presentations, communications, and promotional materials.

HR Communications & Creative Content

- Develop professional and visually engaging PowerPoint presentations for employee engagement, onboarding, training, HR initiatives, and internal communications.
- Create and edit videos and digital content for employee engagement, recruitment, employer branding, and company events.
- Present HR information in a clear, professional, and engaging manner for different audiences.

Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma or degree in Human Resources,



Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, HR Advisor, or similar HR role.
- Good understanding of general HR practices and the employee lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to comfortably interact and build relationships with employees and managers at different levels.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to handle employee conversations professionally and with discretion.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, data organization, and reporting.
- Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create polished, professional, and visually engaging presentations.
- Strong video creation and editing skills, using Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar platforms.
- Creative and proactive approach to employee engagement and internal communications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
