We are seeking an experienced IBM FileNet Developer to support the development, enhancement, maintenance, and production support of enterprise content management applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with IBM FileNet / FileNet P8, IBM Content Navigator, Java/J2EE, and Unix/Linux. The role will involve application development, troubleshooting, production support, integrations, workflow and repository configuration, and collaboration with business and technical teams.

Experience with Service Management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, or equivalent is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, configure, and support IBM FileNet-based enterprise content management applications.
- Work with FileNet repositories, document classes, metadata, security, workflows, and search functionality.
- Configure and support IBM Content Navigator, including desktops, repositories, searches, viewers, menus, teamspaces, and plug-ins.
- Develop and maintain Java/J2EE components, APIs, integrations, utilities, batch jobs, and support scripts.
- Troubleshoot issues involving document upload/download, search, repository access, workflow processing, viewer behavior, application errors, and integrations.
- Perform Unix/Linux support, including log analysis, shell commands, file-permission checks, script execution, and deployment validation.
- Develop and execute unit tests and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployments.
- Perform L2/L3 support, defect fixes, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with technical leads, business users, application owners, infrastructure, database, middleware, and vendor teams.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, deployment procedures, release notes, knowledge articles,



and support handover documentation.
- Follow coding standards, secure development practices, access-control requirements, and incident/change-management processes.
- Track incidents, service requests, problems, and changes using ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, or equivalent tools.
- Contribute to application stability, recurring issue reduction, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- 4–6 years of IT experience with hands-on IBM FileNet development, enhancement, or application support.
- Strong experience with IBM FileNet / FileNet P8 and its core components.
- Experience with Content Platform Engine, object stores, document classes, metadata, security, workflow, lifecycle, and search concepts.
- Hands-on experience with IBM Content Navigator configuration and support.
- Good knowledge of Java/J2EE, including Servlets, JSP, REST/SOAP web services, XML, JSON, APIs, and enterprise application integration.
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux, shell scripting basics, log analysis, file permissions, and deployment support.
- Experience with L2/L3 production support, RCA, defect resolution, and minor enhancements.
- Good understanding of application servers such as WebSphere, JBoss, or WebLogic is preferred.
- Experience with a Service Management tool such as ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, or equivalent is preferred.




- Solid communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with onsite/offshore teams.
